| Kyle and Emma met in their late teens over the Internet. They were introduced through friends of friends and immediately struck up a long distance friendship. Over the course of their teenage years and early adulthood, they kept in contact and regularly talked over the cyber waves - sometimes just a little and sometimes a lot. Their friendship held strong over a number of years and finally, in 2007, they met in person and spent a weekend together in Portland, OR. After that one weekend, they talked every day over the phone and every weekend that followed, they would meet in Portland or Seattle to spend time together. In June of 2007, Kyle moved from Mercer Island, WA to Beaverton, OR to be closer to Emma. They have lived together for almost three years and are both happy to spend the rest of their lives with each other, and with Molly. |
